Putting It Together

The airflow path is simple: laser enclosure → ducting → inline fan → outside (through a window, wall port, or dryer vent adapter). The fan can sit anywhere along that path, but closer to the exhaust source generally performs better than pulling air from further away. If true outside venting isn't possible in your space, route the exhaust through a carbon filter instead — set up as enclosure → ducting → fan → carbon filter → back into the room, since you're filtering and recirculating rather than expelling.
